In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.

The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to several objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Newest Free Story Update

This patch also brings the game's latest free story addition, titled "The Enigma."
